Berhan Araya Bahlbi is a Communications Officer at the British Embassy Asmara. He has been with the British Embassy since 2017, where he enjoys organizing and documenting events.

Mr. Araya studied at the University of Asmara and received a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communications. After university, he worked with the Ministry of Information as a journalist and reporter at the English Desk of Eritrean Television. He then worked in several organizations in a variety of roles, including teacher, lecturer, publications officer, and more. In addition, he has been a communications consultant for the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization.
